We see patients at our offices in Orange and at our new location, Pacific Coast Plastic Surgery in Costa Mesa.

Our UC Irvine Health plastic surgeons are nationally regarded experts in the latest techniques, including free-tissue transfer, microsurgery and craniofacial surgery. We provide all our adult and pediatric patients with the best, most aesthetically pleasing results.
We have experts in reconstructive procedures after breast and other cancer surgeries, and we work closely with the specialists at the UC Irvine Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as with other physicians at UC Irvine Medical Center.
These collaborative relationships allow us to perform plastic and reconstructive procedures as part of other surgeries, which can reduce the number of procedures a patient undergoes, speed healing time, minimize costs and produce optimum results.
- Trauma and burn expertise
If you or a loved one has suffered severe burns, our plastic surgeons team up with trauma and burn specialists to repair damage as early as possible and enhance healing.
Leaders in plastic surgery
Our internationally regarded body-contouring specialist is among the most skilled at helping patients who have experienced massive weight loss, on their own or after successful bariatric surgery.
For patients in Orange County and the region who are seeking the most skilled physicians to perform plastic surgery and both surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures, there are no better practitioners than the UC Irvine Health Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery team.
Reconstructive and cosmetic surgery can restore self-esteem and create an improved, natural appearance for patients after a disfiguring accident, disease or surgical procedure, or who were born with anomalies.
We have experts in current techniques such as free-tissue transfer, microsurgery and craniofacial surgery. We coordinate care with other UC Irvine Health physicians and surgeons, including cancer specialists at the UC Irvine Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. This makes it possible to include plastic and reconstructive procedures during other necessary surgeries, when appropriate.
From the initial consultation through post-surgical recovery, UC Irvine Health Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery's team of surgeons and highly trained medical staff strive to provide you with the best possible care and outcomes.

The researchers of the UC Irvine Health Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery laboratory are at the forefront of developing alternative tissue replacement strategies to avoid harvesting donor tissues during reconstruction.
We are working on the development of cellular and biodegradable materials to reconstruct bone, cartilage, nerve and skin tissue in collaboration with the Center for Biomedical Engineering, the Reeve-Irvine Research Center, the departments of Biology and Molecular Biology at UC Irvine.
As part of this research, our plastic surgery team routinely conducts a wide variety of clinical trials, including fibrin sealant glue for wounds, cultured epithelium for skin grafts and non-contact ultrasound for determining the depth of burns.
Patients who enroll in these trials have access to the latest advances well before they are available elsewhere.
