Dr. Raj Vyas is a UC Irvine Health plastic surgeon who specializes in craniofacial surgery, including facial reconstruction, cleft palate surgery, pediatric plastic surgery and facial aesthetic surgery.

Vyas earned his medical degree at UCLA. He completed a residency Harvard Medical School in Boston, focusing on cleft repair, breast reconstruction and facial transplantation. He also completed a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at New York University, where he collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to treat children with complex congenital anomalies of the face and skull. He also gained expertise in difficult adult facial reconstruction after trauma and cancer, employing tools such as microvascular surgery and virtual surgical planning.
