Gleis is a longtime friend of UCI. Over the years, her generous gifts – totaling $19 million – have changed lives in the arts and neurology, as well as ophthalmology.

UC Irvine Health again recognized for commitment to patient safety

UC Irvine Health has again received an “A” grade in the spring 2016 Hospital Safety Score, which rates how well hospitals protect patients from errors, injuries and infections. The Hospital Safety Score is compiled under the guidance of the nation’s leading experts on patient safety and is administered by The Leapfrog Group, an independent industry watchdog.
