IN THE NEWS: The Orange County Register took note of the memorial Dr. Marianne Cinat’s family, friends and colleagues held at UC Irvine Medical Center last week:

UC Irvine has honored the memory of Dr. Marianne Cinat—the prominent Orange County burn-injury surgeon found dead in her backyard pool in June—by creating an annual lecture and a burn victim’s fund in her name.

Stamos, chair of UC Irvine’s Department of Surgery. “She remains an inspiration to those patients and her colleagues.”
