Kids try their hand at robotic surgery

IN THE NEWS: The Orange County Register and several hundred children and teens came to UC Irvine Medical Center on April 23 to learn about surgical robots and participate in training labs and lectures. The goal of Robots ‘R’ Cool is to inspire the kids to excel in school. The participants received guidance from hospital staff, including members of the UC Irvine Department of Urology, which sponsored the event.
