Walk-in and Urgent Care
Need a healthcare provider right away? You don't need an appointment to get same-day care for minor illnesses and injuries at our convenient UC Irvine Health locations.
Our walk-in and urgent care centers treat patients who need care but are not experiencing a medical emergency. These clinical locations generally have lower co-pays than an emergency room, and patients can be seen faster.
In addition, two of our locations are open after business hours, on weekends and most holidays.
Our goal is to provide you and your children with the exceptional healthcare you expect from a leading university medical center — at times and places that meet your needs.
UC Irvine Health accepts most major insurance plans, including PPO, HMO, Medicare and private health plans. We also accept cash payments. To verify whether your insurance is accepted, call 714-456-7004.

By providing appropriate treatment for patients who need immediate care, walk-in and urgent care services allow emergency departments to concentrate on the most serious cases.
UC Irvine Health emergency medicine specialists provide care for serious medical conditions, including life-threatening injuries, chest pain, heart palpitations, head injuries, loss of vision, severe burns, unexplained seizures, vaginal bleeding while pregnant, fevers with rash and unexplained intense headaches or abdominal pain.
If you or a loved one need immediate care for such serious conditions, call 9-1-1 instead of attempting to drive to an emergency room.
