Autism & Neurodevelopmental Services
A leader in autism care in Orange County for more than a decade, the Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders of Southern California is at the heart of a new partnership to build a national center for the treatment and research of autism, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and other conditions.
The center's goal is to improve the lives of individuals and families challenged by a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders with excellent clinical care, quality education and training, innovative research and advocacy.
Partners in this collaboration are the UC Irvine Health School of Medicine, CHOC Children's Hospital, Chapman University's College of Educational Studies, the Children & Families Commission of Orange County and the William & Nancy Thompson Family Foundation.
Our center, formerly known as For OC Kids, is home to a team of leading experts who offer comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis for neurodevelopmental disorders. Our specialists also provide evidence-based treatment and ongoing, innovative clinical care from infancy to 22 years of age.
We diagnose and treat the full spectrum of behavioral, language, learning and intellectual disorders. As our program evolves with this partnership throughout 2013, our team will have specialists in:
- Behavioral intervention
- Special education
- Language and speech
- Social work
- Occupational and physical therapy
We provide support and education for families, and serve as a community resource to increase awareness and advocacy for these neurodevelopmental disorders.
