Here are answers to some commonly asked questions about our FollowMyHealth patient portal.

What if I forgot my username and/or password?

Why can't I see my routine test results?

Most routine tests that are legally releasable in California display within four to 10 days after the results are posted to your medical record.

Possible reasons your lab results may not display are:

  • Several types of lab tests are legally blocked from release in California. If your lab tests are not displayed, please send a secure message to your healthcare provider.
  • Not all tests are run daily. Results may be delayed because some tests are only run a few times a week.
  • Your healthcare provider may place a hold on the release of lab results if he or she wants to tell you the results by phone or in person.
  • Results of lab tests performed at Quest Diagnostics may be delayed up to two weeks.

What should I do if my test is abnormal?

If your lab results are unexpectedly abnormal and you have not heard from your healthcare provider, please send a secure health message to your provider or call 714-456-7002

Depending on your condition, some test results can be “borderline” normal.

Please keep in mind that after a long holiday weekend, your healthcare provider may not have seen your test results before you do.
