Dr. Matthew Wade is a fellowship-trained eye surgeon who specializes in complex cataract surgery, cornea disease and transplantation, as well as LASIK vision correction. His clinical and research interests include anterior segment reconstruction, astigmatism correction after corneal transplantation, corneal cross-linking and implantation of miniature telescopes. Wade also is actively involved in the surgical and clinical teaching of residents and fellows at the UC Irvine Health School of Medicine's Gavin Herbert Eye Institute.
