Dr. Lauren Pinter-Brown, a nationally recognized hematologic oncologist, has joined UC Irvine Health and the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center to lead the growing team of physicians who diagnose and treat patients with lymphomas.
Pinter-Brown has a longstanding clinical interest in malignant lymphoma, with a particular focus on T-cell and skin lymphomas. A prolific clinical investigator, she has made important contributions to several clinical trials that led to approval of new drugs for the treatment of T-cell lymphoma. Her primary focus is on caring for patients through treatment and beyond to ensure that they "live their best life."
Pinter-Brown earned her medical degree from UCLA Medical School, followed by an internship and residency in internal medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Southern California.
Pinter-Brown comes to UC Irvine Health from UCLA, where she led the lymphoma program for many years. She sees patients at the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center in Orange and at UC Irvine Health Cancer Center — Newport.
