Dr. Police is a surgeon who specializes in treating patients with breast cancer. Although primarily a clinician, she is the principal investigator on a national clinical trial of MarginProbe, a technology developed by Dune Medical Devices to assess lumpectomy margins in real time to determine whether any cancer tissue remains.

Dr. Police also is interested in better linking the surgeon's job with specialties in radiation oncology and pathology to improve the patient experience, streamline care and minimize patient anguish.
