Dr. Chaitali S. Nangia is a hematology-oncology specialist who focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of colon, rectal, breast and head and neck cancers. She leads a multidisciplinary team that aims to expand clinical trials and strengthen options for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of colon and rectal cancers. She also sees patients with hematological needs.

Nangia is actively involved in clinical research with various entities, including national cooperative groups including the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), a National Cancer Institute-sponsored organization that conducts clinical trials on adult cancers, and the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast Project (NSABP), which has conducted large-scale, standardized multi-institutional clinical trials for more than 20 years. Her research interests also involve cancer survivorship and cancer prevention.
