Dr. Catherine Boomus is a UC Irvine Health board-certified occupational medicine physician who sees patients at the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health Clinic. She oversees the Occupational Medicine Residency Program where she provides clinical consultations for complex occupational and/or environmental issues.
Boomus, who earned her medical degree with Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, completed a residency in Occupational and Environmental Medicine with the University of California, Los Angeles. Boomus also completed her internship in family medicine at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Orange County.
Boomus has authored various research activities and publications and her goal as the Occupational Medicine Residency Director is to assist residents with becoming the best occupational and environmental medicine specialists they can be.
