Care of critically ill patients can be challenging. The 2015 Timely Topics in Pediatric Care conference aims to provide information about the latest trends in caring for difficult health issues related to traumatic injuries in children and adolescents that present in the field, for prehospital personnel and for members of the emergency department and inpatient teams.
This course is designed to increase participants’ knowledge of comprehensive care of the pediatric trauma patient in the prehospital, emergency care and inpatient hospital settings.

Accreditation and certification
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing #00005 for seven hours of Continuing Education Units. Seven hours – Orange County EMS Agency California C.E. provider #30-0024. Approved for: EMT-1, EMT-P, and MICNs.
$50 for nurses, paramedics, physicians and other allied healthcare workers (parking is included for non-UC Irvine Health employees)
$20 for student nurses (parking is included)
$50 for same day/at-the-door registration (parking is not included)
The program fee includes continuing education credit with certificate of attendance, a light breakfast and lunch.
