About the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program
The symptoms of IBD are uncomfortable and can become difficult for patients to manage alone. UC Irvine Health offers Orange County’s only comprehensive IBD program at the CDDC. Our team specializes in diagnosing and treating IBD through innovative medical therapies, minimally invasive surgical techniques and nutritional support. Our patient- centered philosophy is built on a multidisciplinary approach that leverages the expertise of the entire care team: gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, nurse navigators, nutritional experts and social workers.
